The literacy rate in Cambodia is far from being perfect, but it has made some improvement. However, it is no mystery that Cambodia still struggles to shake of the shackles of its past and many other ways.

Although education is free, there are still some varying degrees of availability. This mostly depends on the societal status of the parents, and as such, the poor are often deprived of their rights. Or, they merely struggle to get a good education.

SALA: About Us

SALA is the premiere school management system that is based in Cambodia as well as Singapore. We are a team of hardworking individuals who have dedicated time and effort into improving the educational system that Cambodia has.

SALA was borne out of the actual experiences of most of the company’s team members, and their experiences in getting education in Cambodia. From there, there was a spark of inspiration into making enrollment easier for students, as well as finding a way to help school administrators manage their schools better.

The Vision

It is the vision of SALA where Cambodian students have access to education without the staggering weight of tuition fees. We foresee every student having the same opportunities as the rest of the Cambodians, regardless of the social status.

The Mission

After some time spent studying the education-related processes in Cambodia, we have come to believe that schools often increase school fees due to the costs of running a school. These days, it is no joke having to run a school with thousands of students. Managing to keep an eye on each student, teacher, and employee brings undue stress and a lot of effort.

Through SALA, it is our mission to help make management of schools easier and cost-efficient. That way, there will no longer be a need to impose higher fees due to administrative costs. Students will then have lower school fees, and will be able to enjoy education at their favorite or preferred schools.

In addition, SALA would like to reach out to students in the far provinces of Cambodia and allow the students to apply to schools without having to spend a lot of money on travel and accommodations. We aim to readily provide information to students when preparing for their admission, so less time is wasted on missed documents or requirements upon applying to the school.
